We are a private, independent 501 (c)(3) non-profit agency founded in 1978 and serving Southwest Idaho.The Family Advocate begins by meeting with caregivers during the child’s interview to address concerns, answer questions, and discuss any needed support moving forward. They assist with completing referrals for evidence-based mental health services for both the child and the caregivers, as well as referrals for any other needed community resources. Air Force Medical Readiness Agency (AFMRA) Family Advocacy provides program and policy development, training and resourcing medical treatment facility FAP staff, data collection and reporting activities, and program research and evaluation.
